Rev. C. Diane Mosby
Rev. C. Diane Mosby was born and raised in Hanover County where she attended the Hanover County Public Schools and is a graduate of the Patrick Henry High School.
In May 2001, she graduated from the Evans-Smith Leadership Institute at Virginia Union University's School of Theology. In May 2004, she graduated summa cum laude and valedictorian of her class from the Samuel Dewitt Proctor, School of Theology where she earned her Master of Divinity Degree.
Furthering her studies and preparation for ministry, Rev. Mosby was selected as a fellow at Princeton Theological Seminary at Princeton University in New Jersey where she completed her studies with the Engle Institute in Preaching in June 2009.
She began her studies in September 2009 at the Samuel Dewitt Proctor, School of Theology where she is pursuing her Doctor of Ministry degree and looks forward to its completion in May 2012.
After 23 years of employment with the Commonwealth of Virginia and serving as a Business Manager for the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) she accepted the position as the first full time Minister of Church Administration and the first full time Executive Minister of the St. Peter Baptist Church in Glen Allen, Virginia where she was also licensed and ordained under the pastorate of Dr. Kirkland R. Walton.
In January of 2009 Rev. Mosby responded to God's call to plant a church in the Richmond area. The Anointed New Life Baptist Church was birthed for the Kingdom of God on Sunday, April 12, 2009.
Since its birth the church continues to grow in discipleship and service to the Richmond Metro communities and surrounding counties.
Rev. Mosby is often called upon to share the Gospel and to serve the community by conducting workshops, seminars and lectures on Post Traumatic Distress Disorder (PTSD) and the need for the church to be educated and to respond.
